See an example →Commercial invoices and detailed line-item descriptions with photos, prepared per package. Large shipments strategically broken into 25-item packages to minimize customs delays.
See an example →Physical and digital office organization, decluttering, and filing systems that actually make sense. A brief pre-visit checklist ensures we're aligned before work begins.
See examples →Hands-on troubleshooting and training across all three major office suites — Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Gmail, Calendar), and Apple iWork (Pages, Numbers, Keynote) — plus Zoom, Teams, SharePoint, and office equipment. I also help your team adopt new software with confidence — including generative AI, where I hold IBM certificates in AI fundamentals and prompt engineering.
See an example →High-demand services requiring specialized skills and certifications, including C- and E-Level Executive Administrative assistance. I also turn raw data into formatted reports with pivot tables, charts, and clear summaries.
See a before & after →Whether you're pivoting to a new role or launching your own venture: complete home office setup — Wi-Fi, printer, and devices included — plus resume and cover letter polishing (your words, ATS-ready formatting), document prep, and the organizational support to hit the ground running in your next chapter.
See an example →I'm not a general virtual assistant. I bring years of real office management experience to every engagement.
No learning curve. I've managed complex administrative operations firsthand. I hit the ground running.
Flexible engagements. Hourly, project-based, or monthly retainer, structured around what works for you.
Remote or on-site. I work wherever the job requires, serving businesses throughout the Dallas Metroplex.
No overhead, no agency fees, no long-term commitments. Get the benefit of an experienced office manager without the cost of a full-time hire.
Professionally insured. Pivot Office Services carries E&O/Professional Liability Insurance, so you can engage with confidence.
No surprises. No long-term contracts. Just honest work at fair rates — one click away.
On-site rates reflect fully equipped, hands-on work at your location — I bring my own computer, monitor, and gear, and reserve the day for you. The flat travel charge covers round-trip mileage and drive time only, so nothing is billed twice. Many projects can also be handled remotely at the lower rate — your choice. On-site visits have a four-hour minimum.
All engagements are covered by a signed Service Agreement and Statement of Work — happy to walk you through them before you commit.
If any of these ring true, I can help — reliable administrative support without the commitment of a full-time hire or inflated agency fees. Click a card to see how.

The Professional in Transition
I'm Rachel Hartman. Dallas-raised, UNT-educated, and back home in Big D after a few years in Scottsdale.
I've spent nearly three decades inside offices of every size: managing the finances and technology for a family-owned consulting firm, supporting executives from the C-suite at Omni Hotels to EVP level at Michaels, and developing private-brand products for mass-market retail.
Pivot began with an honest realization. Everywhere I looked, businesses were paying premium rates for inexperienced help, and owners were surrendering their best hours to paperwork. The winemaker stuck at a desk instead of out in the vines. The manager who just needs an extra pair of hands to carry a big project across the finish line. Time is the one thing a business can't buy back, so I built a business that gives it back: your hours return to the work you actually love. That's Pivot — the expertise without the markup, or the overhead of a full-time hire.
Beyond that? I'm the geek who genuinely enjoys getting your Wi-Fi working, showing you what your iPhone can really do, and passing along the little shortcuts that make everyday computer work easier. But underneath all of it is something simpler: I care about people and their happiness. I'm the sort who once hand-made birthday cards for every senior on my Meals on Wheels route. Helping people work better isn't just my business. It's my nature.
— Rachel Hartman, Owner
